Extronics' founder, John Hartley, emphasized the alignment in values and objectives, citing BARTEC as the ideal partner to accelerate market growth and innovation. The collaboration significantly expands BARTEC’s offerings, from infrastructure to mobile devices, enhancing their capacity to meet diverse customer needs. Both companies plan to integrate their R&D efforts to foster innovation, with Extronics joining BARTEC’s Electrical Safety Systems (ESS) business unit as its sixth global location. Looking ahead, the immediate priority is fostering collaboration and cultural alignment between teams. Milestones include joint participation at global trade fairs like ADIPEC 2023 and leveraging shared expertise to deliver impactful solutions. This acquisition underscores BARTEC’s commitment to leading digital transformation in explosion protection, offering end-to-end solutions that empower their customers to achieve their digitalization goals.
