Description

The Hygrophil Z 1701-41 is a probe designed to measure gas humidity and oxygen content in industrial processes. The sensor uses a patented dual zirconium oxide technology that provides exceptional long-term stability and accuracy. The sensor delivers reliable measurement results even in the presence of dust and dirt and is suitable for gas temperatures up to 300°C. The dual element sensor eliminates the influence of other gases (such as CO2) as well as the need for an external reference.

Technical Data

The HYGROPHIL Z is different than conventional hygrometers. The influ-ence or side effects of third gases, such as CO2 are almost eliminated by the patented Dual Zircon Oxide sen-sor principle.
Accuracy and long term stability are improved considerably.
Helps or reference air, calibration gas or cooling equipment (as for conven-tional methods) are no more neces-sary.
The sensor is maintenance-free and very easy to install.
For integration several measuring probes a CAN-bus interface is availa-ble. The measuring probe can be switched to single-sensor-operation. In this operation mode the moisture content of the sample gas will be de-termined by the oxygen content. The extrinsical gas contingent is adjusta-ble. A recalibration can also be con-ducted locally at compartment air.
