It has come as a great shock to BARTEC to see the effects of the flood disaster that recently occurred in Slovenia. The many terrible pictures, the many personal strokes of fate and the significant destruction of bridges, roads and buildings have also moved us very much. Our thoughts are with all the people in Slovenia who lost loved ones during this event and all those who are now suffering the consequences of the destruction.
With the two BARTEC sites in Zagorje and in Ljubljana, about 150 BARTEC employees are in summary currently working in Slovenia. Each of our employees in Slovenia has relatives or friends who are now suffering the consequences of this event.
As a sign of our special solidarity with the affected people, we have raised the Slovenian national flag at BARTEC's main site in Bad Mergentheim. In this way, we express our special sympathy and our symbolic support to all victims of the flood disaster.
