Finance and Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)

Bartec Central Services d.o.o. is a shared service center located in Ljubljana, since 2018. We provide services to our entities inside the Bartec Group executing and handling specific operational tasks such as finance and accounting, marketing and communication, supply chain, among others.

Your tasks

  • Assisting the accounting department in daily, monthly and annual activities
  • Work with accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank postings
  • Maintaining accurate and complete records including general ledgers, accounts, receipts and information (posting of incoming and outgoing invoices)
  • Generate and review monthly reports
  • Assist with preparation for annual audits
  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures
  • Perform administrative and other tasks as needed
  • Communication with internal and external stakeholders to discuss invoices and accounts statuses
  • Propose and support continuous improvement of the processes and tools
  • Drive and complete special projects as assigned
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned

Your profile

  • Student or graduate in Economics, Finance or Accounting
  • Working experience in Accounting is an advantage
  • Fluent command of English in written and oral
  • Knowledge of German language is an advantage
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of SAP, INFOR or other ERP system is advantageous
  • Excellent communication, analytical and organization skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently
  • Sense of team work
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Reliability, flexibility, attention to detail and time-management skills
