Bad Mergentheim, 06 September 2023. BARTEC will acquire the British IIoT specialist Extronics. The company is a leading global developer and manufacturer of connectivity and IIoT infrastructure as well as asset and people tracking systems for hazardous areas.

Founded in 1992 by John Hartley, Extronics currently employs 42 people. Over the last decades, Extronics has evolved into one of the pioneers of digital infrastructure and asset and people tracking solutions.

The contract of sale was signed on 05. September 2023. The closing is subject to the fulfillment of certain conditions.
