BARTEC safety switches according to IEC/EN 62626-1 are designed for use in hazardous areas and are ideally suited for safe maintenance, servicing, and cleaning operations by reliably isolating machines, plant sections, and electrical equipment without additional preparations or interventions by qualified electricians. Due to their utilization categories AC-3 and AC-23A, the switches are particularly suitable for motor circuits.
The class 1 safety switches comply with the requirements of IEC/EN 62626-1. The switches can be locked in the „OFF“-position with standard padlocks using a 3-way interlocking mechanism and feature a defeatproof cover for the entire enclosure lid in this position. The operating handle is also available in red & yellow for use as an emergency stop. Moreover, the devices are standard-equipped with an auxiliary contact that opens early by >20 ms ahead of the main contacts, making them suitable for use with frequency-controlled drives. Generous terminal spaces enable simple and comfortable wiring of conductor cross-sections up to 35 mm².
