Description

BARTEC Distribution Panel Solutions provide safe and reliable power distribution for applications in hazardous areas. Their modular design integrates power distribution, circuit protection, control, signaling, and inspection functions into a single, flexibly configurable system.

Depending on project requirements, the panel can be equipped with a main switch, busbars, miniature circuit breakers (MCBs), residual current devices (RCDs), residual current circuit breakers with overcurrent protection (RCBOs), cable glands, and the BARTEC ComEx Global control and signal device actuators system. Lockable enclosure flaps and windows provide controlled access and allow for easy visual inspection of selected components.

Each distribution panel is individually engineered to meet the required electrical loads, installation conditions, certification requirements, and future expansion needs. Engineering, manufacturing, and service from a single source ensure seamless project support—from initial design and production through to operation.

The Panel Solutions is suitable for lighting applications, electric heat tracing, and general power distribution in hazardous areas.

Modular by Design

Configure switching, circuit protection, control, signaling, and cable entries around specific project.

Power Distribution up to 1000 A

Busbar ratings up to 300 A support demanding power distribution requirements.

Flexible Circuit Protection

Integrate MCBs and RCDs up to 63 A, as well as RCBOs up to 40, depending on the configuration.

Main Switching up to 1000 A

A main switch can be incorporated into the system, including an actuating handle accessory.

Integrated Control and Signaling

Integrate BARTEC ComEx Global control and signal device actuators system directly into the panel.

Controlled Access and Inspection

Lockable enclosure flaps and windows support controlled access and visibility.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The BARTEC Distribution Panel is suitable for installation in Zones 1, 2, 21, and 22. Available certifications include ATEX, IECEx, PESO, CCC, INMETRO, EAC, and ECASEx.

Certification availability may vary by panel configuration, enclosure type, and destination market. Please confirm the required certification when specifying your project.

The Distribution Panel is available with stainless-steel and plastic enclosure options. The appropriate configuration depends on environmental conditions, corrosion resistance, installation requirements, panel size, and the required electrical components.

BARTEC can recommend the suitable enclosure material and configuration for the application.

Depending on the selected configuration, the Distribution Panel can support:

  • Busbar ratings up to 300 A
  • Main switch ratings up to 100 A
  • 1-, 2-, 3-, and 4-pole MCBs up to 63 A
  • 2- and 4-pole RCDs up to 63 A
  • 2-pole RCBOs up to 40 A

Final ratings depend on the panel configuration, installed components, certification, and operating conditions.

Depending on project requirements, the panel can incorporate a main switch, busbar, MCBs, RCDs, RCBOs, cable glands, and the BARTEC ComEx Global control and signal device actuators system.

The device arrangement is engineered according to the required circuits, loads, control functions, and certification requirements.

The permitted ambient and operating temperature ranges depend on the enclosure, installed components, electrical loading, and certified panel configuration.

Refer to the technical data for the selected configuration or contact BARTEC to confirm suitability for the intended installation environment.

Lockable enclosure flaps and windows provide controlled access and visibility for installed components. They are designed to support routine operation and inspection while helping prevent unauthorized access.

Specific operating and inspection procedures must follow the approved product instructions and site safety requirements.

Third-party components may be integrated when they meet the electrical, mechanical, thermal, and certification requirements of the selected panel configuration.

All components must be assessed as part of the complete hazardous-area solution. BARTEC reviews compatibility and certification requirements during engineering.

The modular architecture brings switching, circuit protection, control, and signaling functions together in a compact panel arrangement. Configuring the panel around the required circuits and functions helps avoid unnecessary space and supports efficient use of the installation area.

Final dimensions depend on the number of circuits, component selection, enclosure material, cable entries, and expansion requirements.

Mounting and cable-entry arrangements can be configured according to the installation location, enclosure type, cable schedule, and project requirements.

The product design can incorporate cable glands, with the number, type, material, size, and position defined during project engineering.

Lockable enclosure flaps and windows provide controlled access and visibility for selected panel components. They support operation and inspection while helping restrict unauthorized access.

Stainless-steel and plastic enclosure versions are available. The appropriate enclosure depends on the application, environmental conditions, certification requirements, and required panel configuration.

To recommend a suitable configuration, BARTEC typically requires:

  • Hazardous-area classification
  • Destination country and required certifications
  • Incoming supply and rated current
  • Number and type of outgoing circuits
  • Required MCB, RCD, and RCBO arrangements
  • Control and signaling requirements
  • Cable schedule and cable-entry requirements
  • Preferred enclosure material
  • Installation and ambient conditions
  • Mounting requirements
  • Space limitations
  • Future expansion requirements
