The 8 x analogue in/out Ex e (16 bit) module can control various actuators via 8 analogue outputs in Ex e design. One channel can be short-circuited on the short-circuit-proof outputs during operation (conditionally short-circuit-proof). Actuators such as transmitters, current sources and positioners can be controlled. The module is connected to the process control system via PROFINET or Modbus TCP. The module is addressed automatically. This is also indicated by LEDs on the module itself.
