Description

EKL medium is a serial resistance heating cable for use in hazardous and industrial areas. It is suitable for frost protection applications and temperature maintenance on pipes and tanks and is also extremely flexible.
This makes EKL medium easy to install, even on irregular shapes such as on pumps, valves and flanges. The PFA protective jacket gives the EKL medium a high degree of chemical and mechanical resistance, even at high temperatures.

EKL medium is available as a part of the EKL system.
The EKL system consists of EKL cold leads, EKL heating cable and the connection technology ECT.
With the EKL system, it is possible to design and install a heating circuit either with controlled or stabilized design in accordance with the BARTEC design guide for the EKL system without further testing required by a notified body. A qualified person can inspect and release the final installation.
